A little bit about me...

Licensed in 1998, Mara Ackermann has over 20 years of real estate experience in the greater Columbus area. Additionally, obtaining her Broker’s license in 2002, Mara has received multiple sales awards and has been recognized nationally in the real estate community. 

Mara strives to provide excellent customer service and appreciates the need for details and client relationships in every real estate transaction. When a family moves or relocates in or out of Ohio, or makes a local relocation within the Columbus area, Mara has a keen understanding of the importance of advising her clients as they navigate through one of the largest personal and business transactions they will participate in. 

Mara Ackermann is a lifelong resident of Columbus, except for attending Wittenberg University for 4 years from where she graduated in 1998 with a B.A. in English. While at Wittenberg University, Mara ran Varsity Track and served as the President of the Delta Gamma Sorority. 

Since her entrance into real estate, Mara has been a member of a Central Ohio RE/MAX Top 10 team since 1998, a member of the RE/MAX Hall of Fame (2008), received the award of RE/MAX International Broker of the Year (2006), and annually is awarded with the RE/MAX Platinum Club Award based on Sales Achievement. Mara is very active at the Columbus Board of Realtors, serving on several committees and as committee chairperson and a director. 

Mara lives in New Albany with her husband, her twin daughters and her two labs. Her two adult step children also reside in the greater Columbus area.
